Our Story

Foxprint was created in 1984, driven by a passion for good design, typography and print, with the aim of combining the speed and user-friendliness of instant print shop. It had, and still has, the quality and craftsmanship of a traditional printers.

From humble beginnings

Its beginnings were humble, with just an old offset duplicator and a 1960s letterpress printing machine housed in a 20 square metre workshop in Factory Street, Shepshed.

The formula was successful and the company grew, gradually re-equipping to meet clients needs including becoming one of the first companies in the UK to invest in colour digital printing.

Evolution is in our blood

In 2024 the company moved into a new direction under the new ownership of Luke Robertson. This is where the old company ended and the new FreshPrints began. A lot has changed, but what always has stayed the same is our great personal service and we think that all of our customers deserve great quality print at a fair price.

We offer so much more than just the average print shop: our cutting-edge Digital printing equipment allows us to give our customers the very best print available to fit their needs while continuing to invest in the most important part of our business: our customers – who make what we do possible.

Mark

Mark’s experience of printing and finishing is extensive. Having worked in print for over 30 years, there’s nothing you can’t ask him to tackle head on. Balancing his work life with his family, Mark’s a well known face around here – his friendly and reliable nature makes him an all round asset to the team. He’d always be welcoming to any customer or colleague, ready with a brew to regale them with his knowledge and life stories!

Luke

Luke arrived in print a young and inexperienced 22 year old in 2008. From stacking boxes to operating machines to deliveries to management, Luke has worked his way up and done everything in between. To say he has grown up within this company would be an understatement. Luke has seen and been part of many changes and is particularly proud of its journey and his. He has been told (and feels like!) he is part of the furniture and will continue to support the company and build into the future.

Simon

Simon is our Head of Graphic Design and thrives in the deadline driven environment. An integral and somewhat behind the scenes part of the high standard of services from Foxprint, Simon loves his job; it has always felt like a continuation of his art lessons at school – he tells all his friends that his job is “colouring in”! Simon welcomes a new brief and any new projects to get his teeth into.
